Five things decide whether a date is worth moving on. This tool measures all five against your own chart and your destination — here is what each one is, and why it counts.
- Moon phase and sign, void-of-course spans and Mercury retrograde are computed from the ephemeris, not looked up in a table of lucky days.
- Planetary hours are built from real sunrise and sunset at the destination, so they are that city’s hours rather than clock hours.
- Transits are measured against your chart relocated to the destination. That is the part no general date picker can do.
- Mercury-retrograde days are excluded from the ranking and listed separately rather than quietly buried.
- The traditional almanac column is displayed for cultural reference and never affects the score, so the same move gets the same dates in every language.
