What changes in a relocation chart
ASC, DSC, MC, IC and house cusps depend on the observer location, so they can change when destination coordinates replace birthplace coordinates. Planets may therefore move into different houses.
The planets do not move to new zodiac positions when the birth instant remains fixed. This calculator checks that invariant and warns if the two responses do not preserve planetary longitude.

Read ASC and MC before the house list
ASC describes the relocated eastern horizon and MC the relocated meridian. Their signs and exact degrees summarize the largest observer-location change.
Then review which planetary houses changed. A changed house indicates a different life-area emphasis inside this symbolic system, not proof that an event will happen.

Exact birth time and historical timezone matter
Angles and houses are time-sensitive. Use a recorded local birth time and confirm that the selected birthplace resolves to the intended city and timezone.
The destination timezone must not reinterpret the clock time. The birthplace timezone establishes UTC once; only the observer coordinates change for the relocated chart.

No. With the same birth instant, planetary zodiac longitudes remain the same. Angles and houses can change.
Should I use the destination local time?
No. Enter the local time recorded at birth and select the birthplace. The calculator preserves the resulting UTC instant for the destination calculation.
Can I calculate this without an exact birth time?
A precise relocation comparison needs an exact time because ASC, MC and houses are time-sensitive. This tool requires one rather than presenting a guessed noon chart as exact.
Does a relocation chart tell me whether to move?
No. It provides symbolic chart evidence for reflection. Practical and professional evidence should decide whether a move is viable.
